And a little more piano.....

since the last one sounded a bit like a horror movie. This one is only slightly better. Maybe an insect documentary? They have fun and that's what counts.

Long winter

This is how the evenings are going around here. It's been a long winter. We are all very ready to get out!!!!
This swing gets so much use when the weather and/or air is bad. It was one of the best things I tricked Dave into rigging up! Both kids love it. Leah has figured out how to keep it going and "steer" it herself with her hands. And she also loves pushing Kate in it which allows me to make dinner now and then.

10 Months old!

Just a quick Kate update.
She is SOOOOO snuggly. If you even sit down on the floor she will drop anything, crawl over, and bury her head into you. So sweet and I hope to catch it on video soon.
Kate is into EVERYTHING! She is so much more work than Leah was at this age. At least we have Leah to warn us when she is getting into trouble. You hear the words, "MOM, THERE'S A PROBLEM!!" over and over while I am running to see what said problem is. These "problems" make up about 50% of my day right now!
Kate has learned to "scream" from Leah. They do it for fun. Yeah.
She is also trying more and more to "talk". Words like "ma" and "da" have been there for a while but she is now also saying things like "ball(ba)" and "yes(ses)". I love it.
